Souvenirs from Kaka Souvenir hunters who have visited the wreckage of the airliner Kaka, which crashed on the southern slopes ef Mount Ruapehu on October 23, are gradually removing the aircraft piecemeal. The Kaka’s nameplate is on the door of Salt hut, on the northern slopes of Ruapehu, and other pieces have been to homes hundreds of miles away. Some of the personal belongings of the passengers have been taken, but other articles, including a tattered fur coat, are still lying in the wreckage.
