R. HENRY WINS SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP
The final of the Christchurch Bowling Centre’s singles championship for the Munns trophy on Saturday was won by R. Henry, of the Svdenham Club, who beat A. Ball (United). 26-15. At one stage Henry led 22-4. After the game the president of the Christchurch Bowling Centre presented the trophy to Henry.
CANTERBURY CLUB PAIRS COMPETITION The final of the champion pairs competition of the Canterbury Bowling Club resulted: L Hulston and R. Haworth (skip) 19, Robertson and W. Raphail 18.
