WEST INDIES BEGIN MATCH WITH CEYLON
COLOMBO. February 16. The West Indies opened their tour of Ceylon at Galle to-day with some aggressive cricket. They scored 160 for the loss of one wicket in 135 minutes’ play before lunch against the Galle Gymkhana Club, and had put ud 435 for nine at the end of the day’s play (Rae 70, Carew 96. Rickards 76, .Weekes 97).
