English Horses Arrive The English horses War Game and Edenbridge arrived at Wellington this week in the Port Philip on the way to their Southland owners. War Game, which was bought by Mr A. Chisholm, of Otautau, is a three-year-old (English time) son of Big Game and Tidworth. He won as a two-year-old over five furlongs in England. Tidworth was by Bosworth—Betty, by Teddy—Miss Cavendish, which traces back to the famous Sceptre. War Game will join D. P. Wilson’s team at Mosgicl to be prepared for racing in New Zealand before being retired to his owner’s stud. Edenbridge is a six-year-old (English time) and is to stand at the Lorneville Stud, near Invercargill. He is by the 1940 Derby winner, Point I’Ebeque, out of Euxine, a half-sister to a good winner in Brulette. Edenbridge won three events in England from a mile to a mile and a half and was placed over a mile and seven furlongs. Didham’s Big Team A. E.
