BRIAN MACDONALD WINS AGAINST HICKLING (P.A.) HASTINGS, December 15. A points decision was secured by Brian Macdonald (Australia) over Sonny Hickling (Petone) in a 10-round professional boxing contest at Hastings to-night. Both weighed lOst 51b. Macdonald found his opponent’s southpaw stance awkward to contend with. Macdonald won practically every round, and had Hickling down for eight in the seventh round, and again for three in the last round.
