REPORTER REMOVED FROM COURT
COMMUNIST PAPER’S REPRESENTATIVE
PERTH, December 15. A Communist newspaper reporter. Mrs Joan Williams, has been ordered from the precincts of the Western Australian Arbitration Court. The president of the court said he would not have members of the staff of the Communist “Workers’ Star” in court. Immediately after taking his seat he asked Mrs Williams, who was at the press bench, to stand, and told her that, she must leave.
Mrs Williams protested, as a member of the Australian Journalists’ Association and was then removed by a constable.
The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly announced on September 1 the cancellation of admission tickets to the press gallery which it had been proposed to issue to the “Workers’
