KHARDITSA BATTLE CONTINUES
(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. 13. Reuter’s Athens correspondent says that reports from Larissa say that Greek troops, supported by armoured cars, have cleared the guerrillas from the mountain township of Kharditsa, in Thessaly. An unconfirmed report says that the town prefect has been slaughtered by the guerrillas and that part of the male population has been abducted. Fighting is continuing outside the town.
