ARGENTINE MEAT GOES TO CONTINENT
“ MORE MONEY OFFERED ” (Rec. 12.13 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 14. Argentine meat deliveries to Britain are being delayed because of Argentina’s inability to meet her British contract and her new contracts with Continental countries simultaneously, according to the Imported Meat Trade Association. In a statement, the association says that Holland and Belgium are getting high quality Argentine meat intended for Britain, and normally too good for sale on the Continent, because they have offered more money.
