PUBLIC NOTICES. PROPOSED RURAL FIRE DISTRICT. It is proposed under Forest and Rural Fires Act, 1947, to constitute as a Rural Fire District an area in Canterbury Land District, Waimairi county, containing approximately 4450 acres, bounded on northwest by the Main North Railway and right bank of Stewart’s Gully, on north and east by right bank of Waimakariri river, and on south by Heyder’s road and Lower Styx road, to be known as Chaneys Rural Fire District, for protection of trees and other plants on land situated within said area. Plan of the area and full details of proposal may be seen at Kaiapoi Post Office. Any person having wellgrounded objections to the constitution of the said Chaneys Rural Fire District should submit his objections in writing to Commissioner of State Forests at Wellington, not later than 18th January, 1949. 7782 PROPOSED RURAL FIRE DISTRICT.
