LYTTELTON NEWS
MAGISTRATE’S COURT Gerald George Frederick Vlandford and Gwilyn Cowles, members of the crew of the overseas ship Marabank, pleaded flnlty at the Lyttelton Magistrate’s Court yesterday to behaving in a disorderly manner in a public place. They were convicted and each fined £2. On further charges of having wilfully damaged railway property, they were each fined £1 and ordered to pay the amount of the damage, £2. Messrs W. T. Lester and C. W. Carmody. Justices of the Peace, were on the Bench.
