(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) COLOMBO, Oct. 27. Offerings were 2.735,0001 b at the Ceylon tea sales to-day. Demand was very strong for all descriptions except dull liquoring stalky types and low brown orange pekoes. Meaium high-grown brokens advanced considerably. High grown broken orange pekoes realised 219 cents per lb, medium liquoring broken orange pekoes 182, medium liquoring orange pekoes 160. low medium broken orange pekoes 152, and low medium pekoes 153.
