RUSSIAN WIVES OF WESTERNERS
(Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON. Sept. 23. Reuter’s correspondent in Moscow says that four Soviet wives of British subjects and four Soviet wives of American subjects have sent a letter to the Moscow paper, “Izvestia,” saying: “We protest against the slanderous antiSoviet campaign in British and American newspapers about the Soviet wives question. We state that we do not want to proceed to England or Arnerica, and have applied for divorces.”
