Line's motor-ship Palana is standing by the disabled motor-ship Fernmoor waiting for the weather to moderate before resumin'’ the 2200-mile tow to Auckland. Weather reports received in Auckland from the area • indicate strong southerly winds and a high pitch on the sea.
