TAXI LICENCES
An application by Keith GilliganKingsley (Mr D. W. Russell) for the issue for a new continuous passenger taxi-cab licence was declined by the Christchurch Metropolitan Licensing Authority yesterday. There were four applications for the transfer of a revoked taxi licence, and after hearing evidence the authority announced that it would be issued to Bruce Owen Edwards (Mr B. A. Barrer).
