TEAMS FOR TO-DAY’S MATCH I The last representative game of the i 1948 season in Canterbury will be played , at Lancaster Park to-day between Can- . terbury and South Canterbury. With the exception of L. Savage, at half-back, and i J. Roach, at first five-eighths, the Canter- .; bury back line does not represent the fUli , strength of back play, and the absence °f W. G Argus, E. H. M. Richards and , J. W. Kelly, three-quarters, will be felt. I The forward division is strong and includes A. D. McKenzie, B. Chandler, R. Stuart, and G. Bond, all well up to the best representative standard. Interest in the South Canterbury team will centre in the performances of possible All. Black selections in J. W. Goddard, full-back, M. P. Goddard,, centre three-quarters, and.L. Grant, forward. All played well in the final trial at Wellington last Week, and have been chosen to represent the Scuth Island in the NorthSouth Island match at Wellington next Saturday.
