MISSING TRADE UNION SECRETARY
(P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 24. A report that Walter Ashton, the missing former secretary of the Auckland Trades Council, has been seen in Australia, was made by a member of the national executive yesterday to the national council of the New Zealand Federation of Labour. The council decided that the matter of Ashton’s disappearance should be referred to the police.
