“SOCIALISATION”
REPORTED MOVE TO DELETE WORD (Rec. 10 p.m.) CANBERRA, Sept. 23. Observers report that a powerful body of Labour opinion, backed by the Federal executive of the Australian Labour Party, is moving to delete thef contentious word “socialisation” from the Labour platform and to substitute the phrase ‘‘collectively used.” The executive has submitted a restatement of Labour policy for consideration by the party’s triennial conference.
