(Rec. 8 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 22. “The Communist spy stories now being circulated are preposterous and are creating hysteria,” said *he United States Attorney-General (Mr Tom Clark) to-day. Mr Clark said: “We have the fifth column on the run in the United States. We can keep it on the run without resorting to trial by ordeal.’’
