TECHNICAL V. WESTERN TO-MORROW
Old rivals in Technical and Western will meet at English Park to-morrow. The event is the semi-final of the English Cup knock-out competition, and although the result will not affect the championship, the winner will receive two points. Western has already won the champiorisMp, being so far undefeated in the series. Technical- has beaten Western in the Chatham Cup competition, the Dominion final of which it won, but showed lack of consistency in the championship, losing to Western and most ignominously to its own B team. Last season Western won the championship and Technical won the English Cup.
