KILLED BY ELECTRIC SHOCK
ELECTRICIAN USING INFRA-RED LAMP (P.A.) GISBORNE, September 22. Apparently killed by electric shock when an infra-red lamp came into contact with his bare skin. Alexander Osborne Clare, aged 40, an electrician, of Gisborne, was found dead on his bed late last night. Mr Clare had been treating his right shoulder with a ray lamp. When his wife returned she found the movable arm of the lamp lying beside her husband’s shoulder. There was a burn on the right shoulder and neck.
