NO BALLOT NECESSARY FOR OFFICERS No ballot will be necessary this year to elect officers' of the Canterbury Chamber of as the nqjnbor of nominations received equaSRHWR vacancies. - Officers will be elected as follows at the annual meeting on September 29: President, Mr A. Henderson; vicepresident, Mr H. S. Williams; immediate past president, Mr E. T. Beaven; honorary councillor, Mr H. C. Hurst; councillors, Professor A. H. Tocker and Messrs W. H. Aitchison, E. T. Buckeridge, M. D’Arcy. J. R. Dench, A. M. Hollander, R. C. Jamieson, W. A. McKinney, R. C. Neville, A. A. Perry, I. Sladen. and R. A. Witbrock. Members of the council who will retain their seats for another year are Messrs J. Boyd-Clark, H. C. Hassall. L. J. Hensley, T. F. M. Gibson, L. K. Laugesen, W. S. Mac Gibbon, C. S. Peate, C. H. Perkins, W. A. Smith. H. Warren, P. B. Witt, and G. H. Wood
