Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.— According to the annual report of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce, the chamber’s membership has continued to increase. On July 31. 1948, there were 770 representatives of 602 members, compared with 648 representatives of 584 members on July 31. 1947. The balance-sheet for the year ended July 31 shows income, amounting to £4129, and expenditure of £4124.
