BOXING DELEGATE GIVEN FREE HAND
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, September 22. Referring to the appeal to be heard next Monday against the decision of the New Zealand Olympic and Empire Games Association executive to hold the Games in Auckland, the delegate from the Canterbury Boxing Association (Mr F. Allen) asked the New Zealand Boking Association conference to instruct its delegate (Mr L. A. Tracy, of Hawke’s Bay) how to vote.
Instead, the conference passed a motion of confidence in its delegate and left him to make the decision.
