DESIRE TO REMAIN IN U.S. AS REFUGEE (Rec. 7 p.m.) WASHINGTON. Aug. 22. Mr Alfons Vogel, a press attache at the Rumanian Consulate in Washington, has resigned his position “for political reasons,’* and will try to remain in the United States as a political refugee. I easily gave up—from a material point of view—a very good position to have my own freedom to express my own beliefs.”
