£20,922 SPENT BY COUNCIL LEASE TO TENANT APPROVED The total cost of the Sign of the Takahe to the City Council since it was taken over was £20,922, £1(,153 being spent on alterations, said Cr. W. P. An offer of £4 from the pupils of the Cashmere school to provide a shield bearing the coat of arms of Christchurch or of some house connected with Christchurch was accepted.
