STOCK EXCHANGES BUSINESS ALMOST AT A STANDSTILL Business was virtually at a standstill on the Christchurch Stock Exchange yesterday. The only stock that changed hands involved a late reported sale on Friday of a parcel of Bank of Australasia shares at £lo—on Thursday buyers offered £ll lCs, with sellers Us away.
