MAGISTRATE’S COURT
SATURDAY (Before Mr W. E. Olds, J.P., and Mr Turner Smith, J.P.) REMANDED John Thomas Mortimer, aged 29, was remanded until to-day (Monday) on a charge of obtaining money by false pretences. Bail was allowed in the sum of £5O and one surety of £5O. Walter Leonard Parsons, aged 38, was remanded until to-day on a charge of being found in a state of intoxication when in charge of a motor-truck in Portman street on Friday. Bail was allowed in the sum of £5O and one surety of £5O.
