PRICE OF BEER
Sir,—Regarding beer prices, I noticed that the Price Tribunlal’s reply to “R.G.’s” letter was as usual neither affirmative nor enlightening. “R.G.’s’’ grouch seems to be that the tribunal has not set a standard-sized glass for bottled beer, while it has set the price of the glass—rather a case of the cart before the horse. How on earth the tribunal can estimate the price of a commodity that ranges from soz down to infinity is past my comprehension. —Yours, etc., PAS July 21, 1948.
