Olympic Association.— The executive of the New Zealand Olympic Association announced that at a meeting of the executive committee last evening it was decided to confirm the application of New Zealand for the 1950 British Empire Games A letter received from the manager of the New Zealand Olympic team (Mr D. 1. Woodfield) on July 17 reported that the training of all members was procelding satisfactorily and that return passages had been booked on the Tamaroa. leaving London on August 26. —(P.A.)
