URBAN LAND SALES COMMITTEE
The Christchurch Urban Land Sales Committee approved three sales of houses and reserved decision on the sale of another yesterday. The sum of £425 sought by H. E. Goodger for the sale of a house at 28 Union street, Papanui, was reduced to £4OO A house at 38 Gibbon street, Sydenham, from John Burt Corbett to Keith Campbell Richards and Elizabeth Richards, was approved for sale at £745. Mr C. E. Hoy, for the vendor, valued the property at £BlO. and Mr E. A. Gasson, tor the Crown, at £7lO. The sale price sought was £950. Mr Hoy valued a house at 68 Tilford street, Woolston, at £1920. and the Crown valuation, by Mr F. T. Fullwood, was £1835. The sale of the house, from William Henry Simpson to Ronald Alexander Kirkwood, whs approved at £lB7O. Decision was reserved when Viola C. Lane sought permission to sell to Padriac R. Barrer a house at 55 Oxley street. St. Albans. For the Crown. Mr R. Walker valued the property at £575, while the vendor’s valuation, made by Mr N. H. McCrostie, was £645.
