Chimney Fire:— The Christchurch Central Fire Brigade put out a chimney fire at the residence of Mr John Jackson, 13 Aylmer street, Somorfield, yesterday morning. The call was received at 9.26 o’clock. No damage was done. The brigade received no calls on Saturday.
