LEND-LEASE BILL REDUCED
American Terms For Britain (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 15 The United States has further reduced by 35,000,000 dollars the bill presented to Britain for settlement of its original 14,000,000,nondollar lend-lease account. The debt, which now stands at 015,000,000 dollars, is scheduled to be paid off in 5Q annual settlements, beginning on July 1, 1951. The final settlement, which was signed last Monday and was published to-day, covers all United States and British claims and counter-claims arising from the war, Officials said the final estimated value of Britain’s reverse Icnd-lease aid to the United States was about 4,300,000,000 dollars.
