FRIDAY (Before Mr F. F. Reid, S.M.) REIM AND ED Maurice Victor Betteridge (Mr K. A. Gough), a wood merchant, aged 19, was remanded by consent until August 9, when charged with failpig to stop and ascertain if any person hdd been injured when, as the driver of a motor-car, he was involved in an accident at the corner of Breezes road and Page’s road on July 6. Bail was allowed in the sum of £lOO and one surety of £lOO. Thomas James Dyer, a butcher, aged 36, pleaded guilty to a charge of being a rogue and vagabond in that he had been found by night without lawful excuse in the dwelling house of Deaconess Home, 25 Latimer square. Dyer was remanded in custody for seven days, the Probation Officer then to furnish a report.
