THE ATIENTION OF THE PUBLIC is drawn to the fact that the lighting of fires, except in a properly constructed fireplace or in the curtilage of a dwelling is a contravention of the Board’s Bylaws. THE AREA WITHIN WHICH THIS PROHIBITION IS EFFECTIVE IS THE HILL COUNTRY of the Board’s district generally* described as an imaginary line, from Mt. Hutt, following the foot of the hills past Win terslow, Mt. Somers, and Surrey Hills, crossing the Rangitata and skirting Mt. Peel, Orari Gorge, Four Peaks, Waitohi Hills to the Skipton bridge. Following up the Opuha river to Clayton Station and then skirting the foothills of Sherwood Downs to Kimball, then along the Three Springs Range to the Tengawai river, then along the foothills to Mt.
