AIR FREIGHT SERVICE
OPENING DELAYED UNTIL JULY 26 The introduction of the Main Trunk freight service operating from Harewood aerodrome between the four main centres of New Zealand, will be delayed until July 26. Announcing this last evening, the National Airways Corporation stated that the Dakota aircraft Peho, which developed engine trouble during a test flight on Tuesday, would need a full engine change. Three other aircraft undergoing conversion in the corporation’s workshops would not be com> pleted before July 19, the date originally set for the opening of the service.
