SUPPLIES OF WHITE OATS
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, July 16. The serious position of. oatmeal manufacturers in the South Island because of lack of supplies of garton oats was brought to the attention of the Minister of Agriculture (Mr E. L. Cullen) in a notice of question from Messrs R. G. Gerard (Opposition. Hamilton) and J. K. McAlpine (Opposition, Selwyn) in the House of Representatives to-day. They asked what steps the Minister would take.
