MR BRAUND STILL PRACTISING
20 CANCER PATIENTS TREATED EACH DAY
SYDNEY, April 30. Mr John Braund admits that he is still treating cancer sufferers and says he intends to continue to do so until the Premier (Mr J. McGirr) asks him to cease. He is treating on an average 20 patients a day, out since last' Monday *has accepted only persons who have not undergone cancer operations and who can produce medical certificates that they have cancer.
He denies that he had anything to do with the deaths in hospital of two men and three women. He also denies telling Mrs Doreen Davey, of Waihi, who is now recovering in a Sydney hospital after an operation, that he could cure a cancer in her right cheek, but admits giving her two injections of his formula at half normal strength. Constable G. E. Jones, of Auckland, who flew to Sydney on April 11, is still being treated by Mr Braund for cancer of the Stomach.
