CHRISTCHURCH CLUB The Sir Cyril Ward Memorial mixed Jour-ball, best-ball bogey competition was Clayed at Shirley on Saturday by memers of the Christchurch Golf Club. The best scores were:— R. R. Bell and Mrs Bell, 5 up; J. F. Oakley and Mrs F. E. Twyford, 3 up; J. H. Mortlock and Miss H. Halliday, 3 up; R. M. Adams and Mrs B. Vaughan, 3 up. RUSSLEY CLUB A four-ball, best-ball bogey match was played at the Russley golf links on Saturday. Best cards returned were as follows:—N. P. Ball and T. D. Glubb, 4 up; L. G. Blumsky and R. WAITIKIRI CLUB The Waitikiri Club held its first open tournament of the season during the week-end, when the senior and junior club championships were decided. At the end of the play the president, Mr J. W. Arnold, - when presenting the prizes, congratulated the club on the first-class condition of the course and the big number of entries received for the different competitions. Results:—
