RAILWAY ARRANGEMENTS FOR EASTER

The 8.35 a.m. Christchurch-Invercargill < and 7 a.m. Invercargill-Lyttelton expresses < will run daily (excluding Sunday) from t March 23 to April 1. and the 9.10 a.m. . Other trains include the 12.25 p.m. express from Christchurch on March 25, 26, and 30, and an express from Dunedin to Christchurch will leave at 10.50 alb. on the same dates. On March 25 an express will leave. Christchurch at 10.10 p.m., and one’ from Dunedin at 9 40 p.m. on March 25, 26, 28, 29. 30 and April 2, the night express will leave Christchurch at 11.2 pjn. and one will leave Dunedin at 11.20 p.m. The 8.25 Christchurch-Picton and 9.50 a.m. Picton-Christchurch expresses will

run on March 24, 25, 26. 29, 30 and 31. A passenger train to Waipara, leaving Christchurch at 7.35 a.m., will run on the same days. On March 25. 26. 27, and 30 the 10 a.m. Christchurch-Greymouth and 10.18 a.m. Greymouth-Christchurch expresses • will run. On March 30 there will also be ■ expresses leaving Christchurch at 9.20 a.m. and Grey mouth at 9.32 a.m. Night [ passenger trains will leave Christchurch s on March 25 at 9 p.m. and 11.40 p.m., the latter travelling to Hokitika. On March I 29 a passenger train will leave Christ--1 church for Greymouth at 6.15 p.m.
