PURSUANT to the regulations of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, notice is hereby given that the Christchurch Tramway Board proposes at a meeting to be held on March 31, 1948. to consider a motion. to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for sanction to borrow the sum of £1,350,000 for the purposes of modernising the Christchurch tramway system. The security for such loan shall be by a special rate levied on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Christchurch Tramway District. Any person having any objection to the proposed application will submit the same in writing to the Christchurch Tramway Board, Cathedral square, Christchurch, C.l, not later than the day preceding the said meeting. .
