WAGES AND PRICES
Sir,—l thank “Camouflage" for wantIng to know where the Government will get the money to subsidise the extra cost. It shows somebody has taken an interest in my letter. I don’t say my letter is perfect by any means, but X think I am on the right track. If anyone has a better proposition to malje J shall be very pleased to hear it. "Camouflage" asks where I think the Government will Set the money from to subsidise the igher costs. Well, by stopping the thousands of pounds which it costs this country to send globe-trotters all round the world and by using the surplus million or two which the Government I think has got.— Yours, EMPLOYER. March 16. 1948.
