IMPERIAL WINS FRIENDLY COMPETITION
Imperial won the final match in the mid-week friendly games which were concluded on the green yesterday. Results were:— First Round,—United (Logie. McCulloch, Laws, Findlay, s)» 18; Redciiffs (Webster, Wing, Formison, Ladbrooke. *«.), 9.
Second Round. (F- Booth, Ashcroft, Stanton, G. Black, s.) 18, United 15; Imperial (Williams, Bain, Peters, Wornail, s.) 20, R.S.A. (McVay, Packer, Templeton, Ritchie, 8.) 9. Final.—lmperial beat Woolston on an extra head.
Five greens were used during the matches and 74 fours competed.
