LYTTELTON DISTRICT ODDFELLOWS
The annual meeting of the Lyttelton District. Manchester Unity,' 1.0.0. F., New Zealand, was held In Lyttelton. The District Grand Master, Bro. W. Smith, Lyttelton, presided. The election of officers resulted in tha election^of the deputy District Grand Master, l3ro. A. T. Mould (Loyal Waiwera Lodge), as district grand master. P.G. Bro. D. Boyd (Loyal City of Norwich Lodge) was elected deputy grand master. The newly-installed grand master called on the oldest lodge member present, P.P.G.M. Bro. W. Lester, to present the jewel to the I.PJ>. Grand Master, Bro. W. Smith. 1 The provincial secretary nominated Director Bro. Gow for Grand Master of New Zealand at the movable conference at New Plymouth, and Director A. H. Roberteon, for Deputy Q.M. Both nominations were approved. PJP.G.M. Bro. G.. C. Taylor, district secretary, was elected delegate to the conference from the district. Auditors appointed wers P.D.G.M. Bro. R. Strachan and P.P.DJK.
It was decided to hold the next district meeting at Barry’s Bay in 1949.
