REPUBLICANS REJECT NEW BODY STATEMENT ISSUED IN Jogjakarta (flee. 12.30 a.m.) BATAVIA, March 10. The Indonesian Republican Government deeply regretted the formation of ah Indonesian Interim Federal Government by the Dutch Lieutenant-Governor-Gbneral (Dr. Van Mook), said kn Official statement issued in the Republican capital, Jogjakarta. The new body,, neither in its form nor its contents, ih the least justified its name. Said the statement. The Republic considered the new Government nothing but a transformation of the former Netherlands East Indies Government. ahd that the forrhation of a provisional Federal Government according to the principles of the agreement signed on the U S.S. Renville had not yet been achieved. Members of the new Interim Federal Government, were installed to-day by Dr. Van Mook. He said that the Government reorganisation left the door wide open for participation by the Indonesian Republic as a State. In that. form it would be very welcome. There was nothing he would like better than to see the whole o' Indonesia reunited politically.
