Boxer Cleared of Responsibility.— A coroner's jury in Chicago to-day cleared Ezzard Charles, the light heavy-weight boxer, of the death of Sam Baroudi after their bout on February 20. Baroudi died after he was knocked unconscious in the tenth round. The jury recommended a sweeping revision of the Illinois boxing regulations and asked that Mike Spinelli and Al Warner, Baroudi’s manager and trainer respectively, should be barred from professional boxing for life.— Chicago, March 6.
