CLOTHING STOLEN FROM LAUNDRY
THIEVES ENTER THROUGH SKYLIGHT Thieves entered the laundry of Brown and Armigers. Ltd., at 388 Avonside drive, on Monday night, and stole sports clothing, including men's grey trousers. A pane of glass was taken out of a skylight at the back of the building and the thieves made their way from there to the main factory. Nothing was taken from the office. CITY PREMISES BROKEN INTO Some time during the week-end thieves broke into the premises of J. F Hargrave. Ltd., engineers, at 567 Colombo street, forced open a cash box in the office and stole the sum of £5 10s in notes and silver.
