INDIANS WIN AT HOBART
TASMANIA COLLAPSES IN SECOND INNINGS (Rec. 12.30 a.m.) HOBART, Jan. 13. The Indians had an easy victory over Tasmania to-day, winning by an innings and 139 runs. Rain during the night seeped through the covers and made one end of the pitch soft, and Tasmania collapsed for 125. The only good batting was a stubborn second-wicket partnership of 64 between Morrisby, who toured India with Ryder’s team before the war.' and Walmsley, a former New South Wales all-rounder.
