TRUSTEESHIP OVER SOMALILAND
CLAIM LODGED BY ITALY LONDON, January 12. Italy has submitted a claim for the trusteeship over the former Italian colony of Somaliland, to the deputies of the Big Four Foreign Ministers, who are scheduled to > meet again in London soon. , . - Meanwhile, rioting, believed to be between Italians and Somalis, has broken out at Mogadishu Somaliland. Forty Somalis are reported to have been killed. The situation is said to be worsening, and British troops are standing by. The former King’s two aunts, the former Queen Elizabeth of Greece and Archduchess Ileana of Hapsburg, with Archduchess Ileana’s husband.
