SOUTH ISLAND TOURNEY The South Island championship croquet tournament was continued at Christchurch on Saturday. Results were as follows: Open Championship W. H. Kirk beat H. Smith 26-22, 11-26, 26-16; Mrs Kirk beat Mrs Gilbert, 11-26, 26-23, 26-19; Mrs Penn beat Mrs E. A. Smith 26-19, 20-26, 26-18. Second Round: Mrs Challen beat Mrs Penn 26-4, 8-26, 26-17. Level Singles Post-section play.—Mrs Anderson beat Mrs Weir, 26-7. Semi-final: Mrs Wearing beat Mrs Logan, 26-8; F. Nettelton beat Mrs Anderson, 26-23.
