Reassuring Sight
Miles of warehouses filled with goods for export which he saw at the London docks before he left reassured Mr A. Woolier, who arrived by the Rakaia to take over the post of British Trade Commissioner in Wellington from Mr H. F. Stevens, of the bright future which existed for the British export trade. “It was the most heartening sight one could imagine,” he said.
